Amy Santoro loves teaching musical theatre at Thrive and being part of the wonderful Thrive community!
She is from San Diego, CA and grew up actively training in musical theatre and dance. She graduated from Benedictine College where she received a BA in Education with a concentration in fine arts. She is an active performing arts teacher, director and choreographer and has worked with many companies and organizations throughout San Diego County including Santa Fe Christian Schools, Moonlight Youth Theatre, Poway High School, Horizon Prep, Urban Discovery Academy and Cathedral Catholic High School.
She has also been a recipient of the National Youth Arts awards for Outstanding Choreography for her work on Santa Fe Christian Schools productions of Annie, Godspell and Newsies. She has a passion for teaching performing arts and dance to kids of all ages and loves being able to use her gifts for the Lord. She hopes to instill in her students a love for the arts and inspire them to be the best they can be.
